Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Nandan Pugalia ("we", "us", "our"), an individual operating FilingForge from Kolkata, West Bengal 700019, India (project email + hosting under the operator's domain, alphaforge.cloud). You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a premium Skill.
By using the FilingForge app or buying a premium Skill, you agree to these terms. They're written plainly on purpose. The most important part is the disclaimer — please read it.
What FilingForge is
FilingForge is a free, open-source (MIT) desktop app that gathers a company's official public filings and converts them into clean, AI-ready text on your own computer. The app itself never calls an AI model. "Skills" are prompt files you run in your own AI tool.
Not investment advice. FilingForge and its Skills are research and productivity tools — not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Outputs are generated by your AI from public filings and may be incomplete or wrong. Always verify against the original filings and your own judgement. Any decision you make is your own, and we accept no liability for it.
Not SEBI-registered. The operator is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser, research analyst, or any other intermediary. FilingForge is a software utility; any output is generated by your own AI and is not a research report, investment recommendation, or regulated activity under SEBI regulations.
Premium Skills — what you're buying
- A premium Skill (e.g. Concall Decoder) is a one-time digital download — a prompt file you run in your own AI tool.
- You get a perpetual personal licence to your copy. There's no DRM; the file keeps working on your machine and is yours to keep. Copyright and intellectual property in the Skill remain with the operator — please don't resell, repackage, or publicly redistribute it. Paid files are watermarked with your purchase email.
- Pricing is shown on the product page and at checkout — what you see is what you pay (e.g. Concall Decoder is ₹3,000, one-time). Payments are processed by Razorpay; delivery is digital, by email (see Refund & Delivery).
The free app
The FilingForge application is free and open-source under the MIT License. You can read, modify, and share the source per that license. These commercial terms apply only to the paid Skills, not to the free app's code.
Pricing & taxes
Prices are in INR and inclusive of any applicable taxes. The operator is currently below the mandatory GST-registration threshold, so GST is not charged separately and no GSTIN is provided.
Acceptable use
Use FilingForge with publicly available filings and in line with the data sources' terms. Don't use it to break the law or to overload any third-party service.
No warranty & limit of liability
Everything is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the app or any Skill output will be error-free, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Skill in question (at most ₹3,000), and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal.
